Piece paths: learn how the pieces move by playing

Before a child can play chess, they need to know how each piece moves. In Piece paths every piece has its own card, and each card is a set of short levels. Tap the piece, then a dot. No reading needed.

  • Collect the stars
  • Rocks block the way. Only the knight jumps over them.
  • Red squares are fire: don't step on them or go through them.
  • Pop the balloons

Safe to hand over

These are the rules we don't bend.

No ads

No banners, no videos, nothing popping up in the middle of a game.

No chat

There's no messaging of any kind, so no stranger can talk to your child. In kids mode, online matching with strangers is switched off too.

No personal details

We never ask for a name, email or photo to play. You can play without an account.

Backup is optional

Signing in with Google (13+) is only there to back up progress. Skip it and you can still play and learn.
